Brain Sparks

Find the place you belong.

I am involved in a freedom ride protesting the loss of the minority rights belonging to the few remaining earthbound stars. All we demanded was our right to twinkle. – Marilyn Monroe

Brain Sparks Book Club.
I was looking for a friend. Someone who loved to learn the way I did. Someone who understood the thrill of understanding something new about the brain or the mind, or testing what I believed in. It didn’t exist. I didn’t exactly have that ‘friend’ yet. So, I decided to create a (virtual) circle. A place where I could invite others like me, to engage in meaningful discussion. To talk about the incredible ways that we can grow. To cheer on ambition. To be inspired. But most of all, to read a book – and finally have someone to pour over it with. That’s my dream. That’s the thing I’ve been waiting for. I hope you have been too?

Why join?

Each month, I’ll share a book for you to read. There’s a very good chance you might not finish it, but that’s okay! Everyone in the group will be welcome to share thoughts along the way, ask questions (which I’ll try to answer), and talk about ways we can apply the book’s theme or topic to our lives. This group, above all else, is about sharing and nurturing a passion for empowerment by education; learning about the way we think and feel, to make better decisions, and ultimately – live a better life.

Will it be all science?

Definitely not. I love reading and learning about the brain, of course, but I also read about psychology, behaviour, social influence, decision-making, personal growth, empowerment, and education. Always open to expanding topics!

How to sign up…

Head to my homepage and pop your email address into the form on the right hand side. I’ll then be able to send you a link to the Book Club pages, for you to join. Suggest posting a bit about you when you join so we can all get to know each other! 🙂

I am beyond excited to share this new adventure with you all.
